Organised Chaos - home and office tidying and reorganisation
Judith Morris - Organised Chaos

About me

I was initially drawn to this work in 2007. My impetus was that I knew I could help others become more organised whilst offering a sympathetic approach.

In September 2015 my life was turned upside down. Illness ultimately changed the way I work with clients.

I had been floored by exhaustion, mental fog, and intense overwhelm. I was diagnosed with Adrenal Exhaustion which is very similar to Chronic Fatigue.  My elderly mother died suddenly whilst I was still at my worst. This plunged me even deeper into overwhelm, as you might imagine.

As I began to recover, I realised I had been living with extreme overwhelm in some form or other, for most of my life. Primarily in the form of chronic anxiety.

I began to change my approach to work when I realised that the common thread between former clients was not clutter, it was overwhelm. It dawned on me that clutter is a symptom of overwhelm. The double whammy is that clutter itself is overwhelming! No wonder you feel stuck.

You may well have tried to declutter before, and either given up, or soon reverted to your old ways. A purely practical approach is unlikely to be effective in the long-term. This is because you are only skimming the surface of the problem.

My approach these days is holistic and completely non-judgemental.  My services are designed to help you declutter anything from your life that no longer serves your wellbeing.

Good news! You are likely to uncover the source of your overwhelm when you declutter in a particular way. Your overwhelm likely stems from your habits, beliefs, conditioning, emotions, and life experience.

Once you have this understanding, the whole decluttering process will feel so much easier than before. Along the way you will also release unhelpful head clutter without having to try too hard.

You will have my gentle support and guidance throughout. I know what it feels like to experience overwhelm. My own emotional evolution continues, and I am still learning useful tools and techniques that I can share with clients.

The biggest thrill for me is seeing a client transformed as a result of the work we've done together. It doesn't matter to me how much stuff you declutter, or how tidy it all looks at the end, provided you feel better. My sole aim is to help you lift the debilitating blanket of overwhelm, and for you to regain your zest for life.
