How to have a haunted house all year round! - 30th October 2025

Yes, I'm on the Halloween bandwagon along with everyone else, but sometimes the analogies are irresistable!

2025-10

If you love Halloween - here's how to ensure your home is haunted 365 days a year

1.  Allow your home to fill up with all manner of unwanted items that exist in a heap on the floor -
This haunting is by a version of you that wants a clutter-free home, she's far from happy because she gets no peace! You might even think she has been throwing your stuff around and making things look even worse. She wants your attention!

2.  Keep everything vaguely sentimental - despite that most of it is a source of sadness or regret
This haunting is by the version of you that needs to feel her emotions - she weeps all night!

3.  Keep all items that remind you of what you have done in your life
This is a mass haunting of former versions of you that simply want to be released - there's a lot of wailing!

4.  Despite that clutter is running your life, you tell everyone you are absolutely fine and love it this way
This haunting is the version of you that needs to declutter - she's similar to (2) and weeps 24/7!

Don't panic! You need an exorcism - of clutter!

The points above are a little tongue in cheek, but hopefully you get the message? So, what to do?

Use the points above to guide you in releasing some of your stuff. Start with (1) if you are averse to feeling any emotions right now. It doesn't have to be an all or nothing situation. Just taking one thing to the recycling or to a charity shop is a start. Imagine doing just one thing a day. After a while it might be two or more things a day. Start small and build up. If you know you don't want something, what are you waiting for?

It's time to put the ghosts at ease and live in the NOW.
